On the road which links the church to the reception, the Anjou offers wonderful pictures of the edges of Loire, also called “levée de la Loire”. Tightened between the river and small old villages the road curves till Fontevraud. You’ll notice that the stone of the area, called “tuffeau”, makes the monuments and houses charming.
On the road, the city of Saumur (his castle, his school of cavalry, his vine growing,…) probably needs a particular attention.
